magical....

Fall is here. I love fall. I love wearing my cowboy boots, miniskirts, and sweaters. Apparently so does everyone else. Three of us are wearing that ensemble in the office today. I love preparing for Halloween...does anyone have any crystal necklaces I can borrow for my wizard rock costume? Oh, it's gonna be sweet. Also in search of dragon rings, a black cape, and a black t-shirt with a wolf howling at the moon.

My mother was in town this weekend. We shopped, ate, drank, cooked, sewed...you know, mom and daughter stuff. It was swell. We had cocktails with some of my girlfriends on Friday night at the Maritime Hotel and fried green tomatoes at Union Picnic. We bought my dad an iShuffle and then filled it with music. We drank coffee at the kitchen table and enjoyed one another's company. It was so great! I miss her so much already!

I love my roommate Colleen. We stayed up until 2am last night to see Feist on Conan O'Brien and then I fell asleep while she performed...typical. We drank wine, ate fat free brownies, and bitched about boys. Such a classic girl night. It was awesome.
